Mike teaches full-time in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Alaska where he is developing a distance education approach to allow students living in rural and remote areas of the state to participate. In addition, he consults on telemedicine and telehealth applications throughout Alaska. He is currently wrapping up an NTIA Distance Health Program for the northernmost communities in the state and partnering on a private telepsychiatry program. In his spare time, he is finishing his Ph.D. in a fully on-line program.
