CODE OF CONDUCT
Please take a moment to read this important information about TelehealthNet's
policies. You must agree to our policies to use our web site.
TelehealthNet is owned and operated by Pioneer Development Resources,
Inc., (PDR). In this document, "we" refers to PDR, "user"
refers to you, and "Service Agreement" refers to our Online
Service Agreement.
As a user, you are subject to the terms of the Service Agreement,
and any other rules that we may publish from time to time. Users who violate
the terms of the Service Agreement may be banned permanently from using
TelehealthNet's Services. The TelehealthNet Job Center, Resource Links,
Chat Room, and Discussion Forum are commercial services, and not public
services. Your right to speak freely here must be exercised with courtesy
and self-restraint. When you enter TelehealthNet, it is like entering
any other privately-owned facility, like a class room, conference center,
movie theater, restaurant, or shopping mall. We expect you to be respectful
of the rights of others and to be well mannered, just as would be expected
of you in the "real world". The etiquette and laws of the "real
world" apply, and we have the right to remove you just as we would
in the "real world" if you fail to comply with the rules. We
reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
When you enter any of our interactive areas, such as our chat room or
discussion forums, your entry constitutes your acceptance of the Service
Agreement as well as the terms and conditions listed below. If you do
not want to do this, please do not enter our interactive areas.
In offering the interactive parts of our website, we wish to promote healthy
communication in an atmosphere of mutual respect. We also wish to remind
all users that you are entirely responsible and liable for all activities
conducted through your behavior here.
In addition to the conditions we define in the Service Agreement, we
adhere to these standards:
1. We welcome people of all ages, races, religions, genders, national
origins, sexual orientations and points of view. We do not tolerate expressions
of bigotry, hatred, harassment, stalking or other abusive behavior, nor
will we tolerate threats of harm to anyone.
2. Because we encourage networking, discussion and exchange of
ideas, we do not allow threatening, defamatory, abusive, tasteless or
indecorous statements. For the same reason, we do not allow sexually-explicit
material in job listings, link listings, conversations, room titles, room
topics or nicknames.
3. We recognize that children and teens need to have rooms that
are appropriate for them, but we do not offer them at this site. We also
do not allow rooms that suggest or encourage interaction between children
and teens and adults for improper or illegal purposes. For the same reason,
we do not allow sexually-suggestive innuendoes or double entendres.
4. We encourage THN Job Center, Resource Links, Chat Room, and
Discussion Forum participants not to give proprietary information or passwords
to anyone in any of our interactive areas. Furthermore, users should be
aware that, when they disclose personal identifying information such as
their actual name, member name, e-mail address, etc., in any online interactive
area, the information may be collected and used by others to send that
person unsolicited e-mail from other parties, or to engage in harassing
behavior. As a user, you must also be aware that failure to proceed with
such caution may lead to stalking or exploitation, and your requests to
have your previously posted materials removed may not be met with an immediate
response from the THN staff. Working with a volunteer staff of web developers,
THN is not in a position to provide immediate service to remedy your errors
of judgment. Please double check your messages, proceed with caution,
and accept responsibility for your actions when posting proprietary, confidential
or personally identifiable information about your self or your business
on THN.
5. We allow only legal activities. Although this seems obvious,
we will not allow any illegal activities. Specifically, we won't let you
advocate illegal conduct or participate in illegal or fraudulent schemes.
You cannot use our Job Center, Resource Links, Chat Room, and Discussion
Forum or any other part of TelehealthNet to distribute unauthorized copies
of copyrighted material, including photos, artwork, text, recordings,
designs, or computer programs. In addition, we do not allow the trading
or swapping of images that are sexually explicit, obscene or vulgar. Even
though it may not be illegal in all jurisdictions, we will not let you
impersonate someone else.
6. Stalking of others, in our Job Center, Resource Links, Chat
Room, and Discussion Forum or in another manner, is a serious offense.
In many geographic areas, such behavior is considered to be a criminal
act. We reserve the right to release information to the proper authorities,
because of a violation of our standards, or because of unlawful acts,
if the information is subpoenaed, and if we deem it necessary and/or appropriate.
7. We cannot guarantee the content of comments that you will receive
while you are online. Other people's comments may be offensive, harmful
or inaccurate. While we may conduct chats on a broad range of topics,
our staff, guests and hosts do not offer professional or medical advice
of any kind, and we take no responsibility for their words. We do not
promise individual consultation to anyone requesting it for free in any
of our interactive areas. Participation in these areas is voluntary, and
does not imply any obligation to respond by the staff of THN or PDR, or
any of our other users.
8. We do our best to encourage healthy communication and to discourage
communication we determine to be disruptive, but we do not promise to
remove inappropriate or offensive postings directed at you within any
specified amount of time.
9. We do not allow posting or use of computer programs that contain
destructive features, such as viruses, worms, Trojan horses, etc. We also
do not allow any bots or scripts on the server, whether they are benign
or destructive in intent.
10. We do not allow commercial activity that we consider to be
in poor taste. We encourage communication and networking between our members.
If you operate in a manner that we consider to be in poor taste on our
web site, determined at our sole discretion, we reserve the right to remove
your post or ban you from all our interactive areas.
11. Your right to privacy is addressed in our Privacy

12. Without limiting the generality of any other disclaimer in
the Service Agreement, neither we, our partners, advertisers nor third
party content providers make any warranty with respect to any content,
information or services provided through, or in conjunction with, our
chats, discussion forums, articles, reviews, cartoons or any other services
on our site. Pioneer Development Resources, Inc., our partners, advertisers
or third party content providers are not liable for conduct by any user
in chatrooms, private messages, job center, web pages, or discussion forums.
Pioneer Development Resources, Inc., our partners, advertisers, or third
party content providers make no guarantee of the accuracy, correctness
or completeness of any information on the site, and are not responsible
for: (i) any errors of omission arising from the use of such information;
(ii) any failures, delays or interruptions in the delivery of any content
or service contained within the site; (iii) any libelous or unlawful material
contained within user web pages or postings. As a user, you agree to indemnify
Pioneer Development Resources, Inc., its volunteers, contributors, employees,
officers, directors, partners, advertisers, or third party content providers
(including hosts or guests) against any and all claims and expenses, including
attorney's fees, arising from the use of chat rooms or discussion forums
on our site. This expressly includes: (i) user responsibility for any
and all liability arising from the violation or infringement of proprietary
rights or copyrights, and (ii) any libelous or unlawful material contained
within user Job Center, Resource Links, Chat Room, and Discussion Forum,
or any other web pages.
