About The Internet Healthcare Coalition [IHC] was founded in 1997 as a non-profit umbrella organization representing a broad range of industry, academic, advocacy, and other providers of Internet-based healthcare information and services worldwide.

The mission of the IHC is to educate Internet healthcare consumers, professionals, educators, marketers, media, and public policymakers about the full range of uses of the Internet to deliver high-quality healthcare information and services. IHC strives for a self-regulated Internet in which voluntary guidelines provide effective means for the legitimate dissemination of accurate healthcare information.

The IHC has posted no new material on its website since 2002.

The official publication of IHC is the Journal of Medical Internet Research [JMIR].

InterPsych
The Internet Mental Health Organization

About InterPsych is a non-profit international, interdisciplinary, internet-based consortium of forums for the discussion of professional issues in mental health. With over 10,000 subscribers, nearly all professionals, InterPsych carries many unpublished insights and findings, illuminating discussions and useful hints for therapy. It even conducts informal research and development. Participating in an InterPsych list supplements reading professional literature, attending continuing eduction courses and chatting with colleagues. A subscriber to a specialized email group or "list" receives every message posted to the list and can post a reply seen by all subscribers. Members include leading academics, research scientists, clinicians and students drawn from anthropology, computer science, neuroscience, pharmacology, philosophy, psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy and sociology.
