IBRO represents the interests of some 51,000 neuroscientists in 111 countries. IBRO is a member of the International Council of Scientific Unions, part of the United Nations Educational and Social Council [UNESCO].

The official publication of IBRO is Neuroscience.

Objectives:

• Encourage excellence in training and practice of group psychotherapy
• Encourage and sponsor programs that enhance knowledge and skill in group psychotherapy
• Provide information about group psychotherapy services and training opportunities

The IPA of Russia is comprised of about 600 individuals and member-societies (mental hospitals, regional associations and so on) and has representations in 54 regions of the country.

Goals:

• Identifying the scientific and practical priorities of Russian psychiatry and promoting work in these directions
• Establishing the new general scientific paradigm in psychiatry
• Opposing anti-psychiatric tendencies
• Contributing to human rights observation in Russian psychiatry
• Rehabilitating victims of psychiatric abuse and errors
• Elaborating new rehabilitation programs
• Humanizing psychiatric service
• Overcoming juridical illiteracy and nihilism in psychiatry
• providing guarantees for enforcing the Law on Psychiatric Care
• Promoting the professionalization of Russian psychiatrists both in ethical and proper professional aspects
• Regaining and reinforcing popular trust in psychiatry.

Objectives: Promote the study, treatment, care and prevention of mental and emotional disorders and deficiencies of infants, children, adolescents and their families

• Develop computer awareness in people of Medical Profession (including Dental, Nursing and Pharmacy) and Administrative Medical Authorities through lectures, seminars workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations of medical software in all parts of the country and impress upon all the concerned on the necessity and benefits of various computer applications in Medicine, Health and Hospital Services
• Give necessary assistance and guidance to develop collaboration with those who are interested in developing equipment/ software for enhancement of professional efficiency of doctors, nurses and paramedical technicians and any software for the benefit of patients, betterment of hospital services and for improving administrative functions in Health Services of States and Central Government as well as local bodies like Municipalities &Corporations
• Help organizations, hospitals, institutions, health &hospital administrators who are life members of IAMI to identify their health and administrative problems that can be solved through computerization and pass them on to information Technology companies (both software and hardware) for a solutions
• Make all the required efforts to introduce computer education in all the colleges of medical sciences, dental sciences, nursing and pharmacy in India at both UG and PG levels through MCI (Medical Council of India) and respective University Authorities
• Make all the efforts to improve the medical, dental nursing and pharmacy colleges in their educational and training methodologies through computer-aided techniques and computerized library information services
• Assist government/public/private hospitals, nursing homes &clinics and other organizations/institutions/establishments having their own hospitals/dispensaries in planning, procurement and installation of hospital computer systems including computer-based medical instruments &equipment and other health related software through standard companies at reasonable rates through life membership in association
• Suggest improvements in the existing services and computer systems if approached by any hospital/nursing home/clinic/organization/ establishment/institution/ laboratory/dispensary/ pharmaceutical company and find suitable software &hardware firms to do that job in an internationally standard design
• Develop collaboration links with other countries, other national and international organizations/ associations/ societies/institutions and software’s development, knowledge base creation, software exchanges, bibliographic references etc.
• Assist in development and employment of medical manpower of medical information’s in Indian hospitals / medical institutes/medical organizations and pharmaceutical companies
• Help India to achieve high international standards through standardization in all the hospital procedures, including patient care, medical documentation, health statistics, computer-based medical instruments, patient monitors and other hospital equipment
• Conduct periodic professional conferences at national level in medical informatics and periodic conferences/seminars/workshops at regional level to keep the members of IAMI abreast of concerned technologies involving computers and information sciences related to medical and allied fields
• Bring out periodical news bulletins, Indian Journal of Medical Informatics and proceedings of the conferences to encourage members of IAMI in professionalism, research, innovation, publications and knowledge sharing

The official publication of IPS is the Indian Journal of Psychiatry.

ISABS:

• Conducts educational and training programmes based on experiential learning and the laboratory technology
• Conducts weekend laboratories in Basic Human Processes in different regions to provide opportunity to a large number of people to gain insights into themselves and their behaviour
• Shares learning and recent developments in human behaviour through meetings, discussions, seminars and workshops
• Conducts research studies to generate more knowledge about human behaviour in different settings
• Conducts long-term professional development programmes for those interested in developing their skills in Process Learning, Laboratory Training, Organisation Development and Human Resources Development

ISABS uses experiential learning and the self-analytical T-group training process as a main methodology: Its programmes are designed with a purposeful objective to:

• Enable participants to gain insights into their own behaviour and its impact on others
• Provide participants the opportunity identify and work on issues critical to their growth and personal effectiveness
• Enable participants to channel their energy and released potential in meaningful directions
• Develop professionals capable of facilitating experienced based learning and developing the field of Applied Behavioural Science

Goals:

• Promote professional and social cohesiveness among psychiatrists of Asian-Indian cultural backgrounds
• Promote learning and research in areas related to personality development, coping skills and psycho-pathology in people of Indian origin
• Educate individuals and families of Indian origin about mental health services
• Advocate for the special needs of psychiatrists of Asian-Indian origin
• Establish close ties with related professional societies, such as the American Psychiatric Association [APA], Indian Psychiatric Society [IPS], American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin [AAPI], organizations serving International Medical Graduates, and organizations addressing the mental health needs of Indo-Americans
• Publicize professional achievements of Indo-American psychiatrists at all career levels
• Establish funds and awards for outstanding Indo-American psychiatrists making significant scientific and service contributions
• Leave a body of scholarly work and a professional organization to serve subsequent generations of Indo-American psychiatrists and the Indo-American community

The IOOB Graduate Student Conference is a national meeting run by and for graduate students enrolled in Industrial/Organizational, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management programs. The Conference primarily consists of student paper presentations and symposia and keynote addresses led by prominent professionals in the field.

Objectives:

• Gain valuable practice/experience in presenting research
• Promote networking and knowledge-sharing among students and professionals
• Educate through workshops/symposia conducted by renowned academics and practitioners
• Facilitate student contact with the private and public sectors through interactions with presenters and visiting sponsors
