| Hector is an ambitious project to build an integrated system based on existing technology and incorporating multimedia and telecommunication new capabilities focused to improve coordination and management in health emergencies. It will contribute a new innovative solution for health care emergency services.
Hector consortium is composed of an important and well-balanced number of relevant members (users, technological suppliers, universities, ...) that will ensure the success of the project.
Validation and verification: there will be around 11 test-sites in nine countries that will test interoperability of the solution.
Goals - integrated telematics systems shall be:
- Able to react promptly and efficiently to any emergency situation
- With a virtual telepresence of medical expertise at the point of care,
- Allocating the correct amount and type of resources,
- Guaranteeing the continuity of care within a framework of service quality, and
- Minimizing the intervention time.
Caring for the training of the professionals and the information to the citizens.
