| The Association of Management (AoM) and the International Association of Management (IAoM) is a nonprofit professional organization of academicians and practitioners of management founded in 1975.
The AoM/IAoM is dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of management in the fields of organizational, human resources, information systems and technology, health care and international management, educational administration, leadership and entrepreneurship. Additionally, the AoM/IAoM promotes the personal and professional growth of its members. This mission is achieved by hosting annual conferences, maintaining an active portfolio of publications and providing leadership and service opportunities in the divisions, international regions, committees, task forces and on the editorial boards of the AoM/IAoM journals and proceedings. The AoM/IAoM is committed to provide a wide range of opportunities for scholarly and professional activities, be responsive to organizational, technological, demographic, and global changes as well as changing educational and lifestyle expectations.

| The Association for Medical Education and Research in Substance Abuse [AMERSA] was founded in 1976 by the Career Teachers in Alcohol and Drug Abuse. It has since grown into a multidisciplinary organization of over 400 members, including physicians, osteopaths, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and dentists. AMERSA is committed to a dialogue across disciplines, which ultimately creates a deeper understanding of substance abuse, and more effective treatment and prevention strategies.
