| The Asociación Colombiana de Psiquiatría Biológica is a non-profit scientific organization.
Objectives:
- Foster the development of biological psychiatry by promoting research, education, communication and investigation in the disciplines and studies related to neuroscience
- Enhance the scientific level of Association members through organization activities and by offering short courses, symposia, and publicationsl and through interchanges with other scientific organizations
- Foster programs promoting mental health locally and nationally, such as support groups and educational publications for patients with depression, panic disorder, and other conditions addressed by biological psychiatry
- Assist members in obtaining financing for specialized study and for attendance at national and international congresses.
